Last year, Seneca Orange County helped over 500 children heal and thrive! Children like Jenny, who was able to find her stride through our Guided Animal Intervention Therapy (GAIT) Program!
Eight-year-old Jenny and her two younger siblings witnessed their mother's death after years of domestic violence. As a result, Jenny experienced crippling fear and anxiety, night terrors, and school problems. On Jenny’s first day in our GAIT Program, she bonded with our mare named Maggie. As Jenny learned to groom, lead, and eventually ride Maggie, she became more relaxed and confident. Jenny is recovering from years of trauma and is learning to find her voice again through healing on horseback.
Please consider making a gift to help Orange County children heal and thrive. It is because of the generosity of caring supporters, like you, that children are one step closer to obtaining the dream of the safe, loving family they deserve.
